M.Siddic Sameer XII, won I-st prize in  shot put  and II-nd prize in Discuss throw in the Nilgiri  District  level Athletic meet, and he selected for Divisional level Athletic meet to be conducted at Coimbatore.

Also S.Subair of XII, won III- rd prize in Javelin throw in the District level Athletic meet.

A.Nithya, std-XI won III-rd prize in District level 1500 m. running race and also our school girls Relay team won III-rd prize District level 4 ×400 meters Relay.

S.Ranjitha, XI std and Beebi Fathima, XII-std of our school students participated in the District level Essay competition conducted by   C S I Engineering College, Ketti, Nilgiri District.

English week has been celebrated from 3rd November to 7th November. During that week, all the students were asked to converse only in English and many activities were conducted on English in all classes.

Siddick sameer, XII-std of our school participated in the Divisional level Athletic meet held at Coimbatore on 4th November and won III-rd place in the shot put event.

Children’s day was celebrated on 14th November and many cultural activities were conducted. Along with our school program, children of “Koodu Trust” from Kollapalli also performed on the same stage. They created awarness about education, health, environment, etc. through songs, Kholattam   and street theatre performance.

Our school topper S.Swetha in 10th std last year was honored and received the merit certificate for scoring state first mark in mathematics 100/100 among Tribal students from our district collector on behalf of Tamilnadu Adi dravidar and Tribal welfare minister on 17th November 2008.

On 03-12-2008, Our school students participated in the Nilgiri district level science Exhibition and demonstrated, How Thermostat is working in electric Oven, Iron Box, etc.

They received merit certificate from the Chief Educational Officer, Nilgiris for the participation.

Career guidance seminar on Aviation, Hotels and Travel Industry was conducted in our school for 12th std students on 24th Dec.2008 by Frank Finn Institute Air Hostess Training.

A Sumaiya of Std XII  (1109 / 1200)and S Swetha of Std X (482 / 500) received a Merit Certificate and Rs 2000/- each as Cash Award , for securing State 1st mark in ST Category during the Founders Day Celebration on 20 January 2009 held at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore.

In the Republic Day Function held at HADP Ground, Ooty, M Tulasi of Std XII received Rs 2000/- as Cash Award for securing highest marks in Commerce (197/200) among ST students and S Padmavathy of Std XII received a Cash Award of Rs 4000/- for securing highest marks in Commerce & Accountacy (200/200 in both) in the state, from the District Collector, Nilgiris.
